Exhibition Reader for Making Sense
An assemble-it-yourself selection of texts, conversations and resources written by educators, designers, and activists that have influenced design collective Making Space’s thinking and work so far, all freely available as creative commons, public domain or open source. The text covers pressing issues surrounding the design industry such as education, precarity, politics, care, social media, etc.

The Reader was available at Making Sense on its own production table, framed by the question: “How can we learn together and share knowledge?” Guests were invited to pick and choose from the available texts and assemble (in whatever order they choose) a take-away publication for themselves as a resource. Texts by Precarious Workers Brigade, Silvio Lorusso, Sarah Ahmed, Tony Fry, and Public Studio, amongst others.

Making Space is an experimental and decentralised design collective based in Narrm/Melbourne. Members: Alex Margetic, Dennis Grauel, Hope Lumsden-Barry, Noor Sleiman, Rida Abbasi, Ryley Lawson, Rachel Worcou & Zenobia Ahmed.
